Sandringham Estate (II)

To think that before 1968 the woodlands here were only ever enjoyed by royalty gives a great sense of history and being somewhere special. 243 hectares are now open to the public to freely stroll as they wish.

It looks like a lovely place Ian!

PS - how are you liking the new camera by the way?!

@Ian Bramham: I wish I had enough time to experiment a bit more with the exposure settings (I sometimes find the white-balance needs a bit of adjustment in PP, especially indoors) - hopefully I'll get out by myself one weekend for a few hours to do this. Otherwise its really good (I only have the 15-85 IS lens at the moment - which has a good range) - I think when I go 'out to take photo's' things will be different, as so far I just pick it up when I'm heading somewhere interesting (the Fuji is still strapped to my belt though :-)
