Zuidzandstraat, Bruges

Posted by
Ian Smith (London, United Kingdom) on 13 December 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Starting a new series from a long weekend in Belgium.
I begin with an afternoon/evening visit to the 'Venice of the North' - the medieval city of Bruges, a World Heritage Site and a time warp in many respects. This shot is on a road named Zuidzandstraat, which leads from the train station into the city centre.
