Blackheath Fireworks Display

Posted by
Ian Smith (London, United Kingdom) on 8 May 2009 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

The Blackheath Fireworks Display is one of the largest free displays in London. This shot was taken with my little Fuji resting against my foot on the grass, and using the 2 second timer to avoid camera shake.

This is stellar Ian. Even more so as it was with a point'n'shoot with no tripod. A very clean image with a superb silhouette and great perspective.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I probably took 50+ shots that night, with only a few that worked out quite well. (But still, for a compact camera, a few is quite good going).
