An evening stroll across the Hungerford Bridge one winter evening and I came across this magnificent sunset.

Spectacular light you've caught on this wonderful photo Ian, and I love the 'L' shaped composition formed by the London Eye and the river vista.
It's really great to see you here on AM3 and hope you enjoy it as much as I've done over the last 2 years and 500 photos.
All the best, Ian

Thanks Ian. I've been sorting out a lot of my shots over the last months, and though it would be nice to show off those I though worked quite well.

Also owning the F31 Ian, you know what impresses me about the IQ on this shot?..... it's the immaculate blue of the sky!
The sky has a lovely even tone with no sign of any noise, which usually means either no processing at all or processing of the highest possible calibre. I know from bitter experience how difficult skies like this can be to process naturally, particularly with the small pixels of any compact camera.

Hi Ian. Just a crop and mild saturation boost was all. At ISO400 (by mistake) it seemed to enhance the DR a little bit also (maybe?).

@GJC: Thank you GJC, I was just lucky to be there at the right time.
Super. Love how the eye dominates the skyline including the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben on the right. Great light and silhouettes.

@Stu: Thank you Stu! Its not often so many landmarks can appear side by side in harmony.
Beautiful shot, Ian. At first I thought it was sunrise because everything looks so quiet and peaceful! Nicely done.
