Turn & Zoom

Posted by Ian Smith (London, United Kingdom) on 21 January 2015 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

A long exposure shot I took of my old photography tutor in London, using a telezoom lens, zooming out at the same time he was walking away, stopped and turned around to face me.
Shot on 35mm film in broad daylight, the neg was seriously over-exposed - but being film (not digital) I was able to expose an image on the darkroom enlarger (about 15 mins of light).
